Heintz Performance Announced as Title Sponsor for Sportsman Division
CONCORD, N.C. (May 16, 2012) – Concord Speedway is excited to announce Heintz Performance as title sponsor for their new Sportsman division. Heintz Performance will begin their sponsorship when the Sportsman division gets into action for their first race of the season on June 2. They will extend their support at the June 9 event by providing bonus money for the top three finishers in addition to the 400 dollars to win.
“We are excited and happy to work with Concord Speedway to make this new division possible,” said Scott Heintz, Vice President. “The speedway is right in our backyard and we hope that drivers and fans will appreciate our support and continue to use our products on their race cars.”
New to the speedway this year, the Sportsman Division will join the regular show on June 2, for Pizza Hut Kid’s Night at the Races. They will run 25 laps for 200 dollars to win. The night will also feature 100 Laps for the Wilburn Auto Body Late Model Stock Car division, Twin 25-Lap races for the Pepsi Street Stocks, 25 laps for the Town and Country Ford Fast & Furious Fours division and 25 laps for the Vintage Sportsman Division. There will also be race car rides, face painting and bounce houses all for the kids!
Heintz Performance (HPI), of Concord, N.C., has evolved into a major supplier for all race teams including the NASCAR teams. Their facility in Concord, N.C. is a 10,000 square foot building which includes a showroom, offices, a large service counter, and quite an extensive area to house the parts race teams demand. On Saturday, May 26, Concord Speedway will host the PASS South Super Late Model Series for their Memorial Day 125 event. Qualifying will begin at 5:15 p.m. with racing action starting at 7:30 p.m.
