Concord Speedway’s Penultimate Race of the 2012 Season Promises Racing Fury

CONCORD, N.C. (July 6, 2012) – The second to last race weekend on Concord Speedway’s 2012 Half-Mile schedule is set for next Saturday night, July 14. Wilburn Auto Body Night at the Races will feature Twin 35-Lap races for the Wilburn Auto Body Late Model Stock Car division, Twin 20-Lap races for the Pepsi Street Stocks division, 25 Laps for the Town and Country Ford Fast and Furious Fours division, 25 Laps for the Vintage Sportsman division and a 25-Lap race for the Heintz Performance Sportsman division. The Speedway will also host the first of their kid’s power wheel races! Parents, please call the office to register your child in either the 12-volt battery division or the 6-volt battery division races. Ten kids will be allowed to race in each division and each child must bring their own power wheel vehicle. Contact Jennifer Campbell at the speedway office for more information, 704-782-4221. NEWLY REDUCED TICKET PRICES! Adult admission for the grandstands has been lowered to only 12 dollars! Seniors, teens and military will still receive a discounted admission of 10 dollars.
